The CultureAndHealth Platform is organized by Culture Action Europe and is a four-year transformative initiative to support over 200 emerging European artists working at the intersection of culture, health, care, education and social care. By providing grants, mobility and networking opportunities, as well as visibility for their work, the initiative aims to highlight the crucial role of culture in promoting health, wellbeing and social innovation across Europe.

• National contact points for culture and health: Artists are given the opportunity to turn to members of the CultureAndHealth platform across the EU for mentoring and peer support. ARTS for HEALTH AUSTRIA is the local partner for Austria.
• Grants and mobility opportunities: Over 170 artists receive financial support to carry out projects or participate in international learning mobility opportunities.
• Capacity building, training and knowledge sharing: More than 60 live and online training sessions in several languages, supplemented by 30 peer learning workshops.
• Presentation and networking events: Four international conferences in Finland (September 29 - October 2, 2025, tbc), Austria, Romania and Belgium as well as many other on-site and online events and encounters will showcase innovative practices to bridge culture and health and foster connections between artists, health and care professionals and other stakeholders.
• An online database for artists: Introduction of a digital tool in 2027 to enable the bringing together of actors from the health and cultural sectors
