CultureAndHealth Platform - Call for project proposals 2025 - Austria
Art meets health
The CultureAndHealth Platform is pleased to announce its first call for project proposals from February to June 2025 in eleven EU countries. Given the diversity of activities and the different starting points in the various EU countries, the calls are adapted to local circumstances. Similar calls are planned at national and international level over the next three years (2026-2028). The first international call is also ongoing and can be found here can be found here.
ARTS for HEALTH AUSTRIA is a partner and contact for all CultureAndHealth Platform activities taking place in Austria.
What kind of projects are supported?
The CultureAndHealth Platform calls are looking for artistic or cultural projects that aim to improve the health and well-being of individuals or communities through interdisciplinary collaboration with the health, social or education sectors.
The projects can cover the following areas:
- participatory arts programs in the health, social or education sector. These can include performances, installations and exhibitions that promote general wellbeing and highlight health-related issues
- Projects that focus on prevention focus
- Projects for People with physical and mental disabilities
- Projects that the healthcare environment and promote the well-being of staff and patients
- Residencies by artists in the healthcare or social care sector
- Practice-oriented, artistic research activity

How do I apply?
Two steps are required to apply. You should (1) fill in the application form and (2) send a CV and any additional material (photos, portfolio, links) by e-mail.

- Fill out the APPLICATION FORM by March 10, 2025.
- Send us a current version of your CV(preferably in PDF format) and any additional material by March 10, 2025 to calls@artsforhealthaustria.eu.
The jury will evaluate the applications and select an interdisciplinary group of artists to go through to the next phase. All applicants will be notified of the decision on March 24.
