ARTS for HEALTH AUSTRIA is on tour!

In order to demonstrate the positive effectsn of art on health and the well-being of people the ARTS for HEALTH AUSTRIA team is touring all Austrian provinces and South Tyrol with the "Art meets Health" event series.

We invite stakeholders from the fields of art and health - health professionals, artists, stakeholders and those affected - to learn more about the effects of active art practice as a beneficial process. The focus is on the body as an instrument and resonance system. We will introduce the topic with lectures based on scientific findings, present an interactive program with dance and music and provide initial insights into the book "Arts and Health: Austria in an international context"which will be published in early 2023.

ARTS for HEALTH AUSTRIA is funded as part of the call Perspectives. Innovation. Art. of the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport. The aim of "Art meets Culture" is to achieve a substantial and sustainable impulse for the future-oriented networking of art and health agendas - especially with regard to prevention.

The premiere of "Art meets Health" took place on May 21, 2022 at the Festspielhaus St. Pölten took place.
